Open Studios @ Birtley Woodland Art Space
Birtley Woodland Art Space are looking forward to welcoming visitors over three weekends in June commencing 11th June to attend their Open Studio in collaboration with Surrey Artists Open Studios (SAOS). This is an exciting opportunity for you to meet local artists and makers who will group together to display and sell their work in and around this picturesque outdoor studio located on the Birtley Estate, Bramley, Guildford.
Birtley Woodland Art Space is a community arts, crafts and wellbeing space for people to come together and learn from professional instructors passionate about sharing and passing on their knowledge and skills to others.
Enjoy your visit and meet a group of artists that are inspired by nature and the use of natural materials. You can expect to find a wide range of 2d artists and painters each with a unique style offering something for all tastes, including art using water colours, acrylics, oils and applied techniques such as lino prints and pyrography. Abstract to realism!
You will also find 3d sculptures in glass, wood and ceramics, furniture and natural materials as well as Willow art, sculptures and garden structures.

25th & 26th June (plus *Summer Craft Fair)
*The final weekend of Open Studios will also include as Summer Craft Fair where artists will be joined by further exhibitors, artisans, wellness professionals, makers and musicians!

Workshops
We will be running a selection of drop-in workshops during this event some of which you will be able to pre-book in advance including Willow Dream Catcher Workshops, Arts & Crafts Workshops, Hanging Bird House workshop and more.
Summer Solstice
Join us for a nurturing evening celebrating the longest day of the year. Ruth will be running two different evening classes, Solstice Yoga Dance and Summer Solstice Yoga followed by drinks around the fire circle and studio.
