Surrey Artists Open Studio

We look forward to welcoming visitors to our fourth Open Studio at Birtley Woodland Art Space in collaboration with Surrey Artists Open Studios to be held over two weekends in June 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for artists and makers to group to display and sell their work in and around our outdoor studio.​

Artists & Makers

Visit Artists and makers in this picturesque woodland setting, their work includes Drawings, Paintings, Printmaking, Collage, Photography, Willow Craft, Pyrography, Woodwork, Ceramics, and Sculptures.

This will be our fourth Open Studios in collaboration with SAOS hosted in and around our outdoor studio on the Birtley Estate, Bramley, Guildford.


Visitors are welcome to visit the Open Studios on each of the following dates from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

We plan to run some pre-bookable workshops on-site during this event. We are also planning a special "Summer Solstice" event, the events published so far include:

Access to the studios is via the main Birtley House gate. Drive up to the gates, these will open automatically, the car park will be sign-posted a few yards up the drive on the left-hand side.

We do have a closer car park to the studio for blue badge holders, this is situated a few hundred yards past the main entrance. Please make contact before the event to arrange access.


Vehicles and their content are left in the car park at the owner's risk. The management accepts no responsibility for loss or damage caused to vehicles left in the car park.

We have lakes and woodlands on-site and you are welcome to walk around during your visit, however, please do not venture into the private gardens. Please also ensure children are supervised around the lakes, car park, and whilst in the loos.


We will be charging an entrance fee of £1.00 payable at the entrance to the car park. This fee is paid directly to the parking attendant.


You are welcome to bring your dogs onsite as long as they are well-behaved and kept on a lead. Please take your poo bags home with you.
