A Summer Craft Fair with a difference!


Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th June – 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.


We are excited to welcome visitors to our picturesque lakeside Summer Craft Fair to meet further artists and artisans who will be joining us to showcase and sell their work and products on the final weekend of Open Studios currently running at Birtley Woodland Art Space, Birtley Estate, Bramley, Guildford.

Artist & Artisans


Aska Gough – ‘AskaArt’ specialises in creating unique, colourful and tactile mixed-media pieces using materials such as gemstones, recycled glass or natural tree bark, bonded with pigmented epoxy resin.



Lynn Toulson – ‘Lynn Toulson Art’ creates colourful paintings in oils and acrylics inspired by nature, both in landscape and seascape.


Gavin Haggerty – ‘Surrey Hills Plant Supports’ manufactures garden metal plant supports, obelisks, arches, tunnels, baskets, handrails and firepits.


Annie Haggerty – ‘Knaked Nanny Soaps’ makes hand-made cold process soap, made with plant oils, home processed botanicals and other skin loving ingredients at home in the Surrey Hills.


Gemma Cockrell of ‘Puremess’ make skin and hair care products from the finest natural ingredients. Puremess see beauty in every single individual and are passionate about optimising your skincare routine so that you can be HAPPY IN YOUR OWN SKIN!


Tiggy Trounce of ‘CollageTig’ make bespoke portraits in collage full of energy. “My portraits are a celebration of every unique soul and can be quite emotional to receive. This is a collaboration tailored to you.”


Carl Austin of ‘Carl Austin Furniture’ is a true craftsman, with silhouettes that divert the eye and tactility that demands to be sat in, this range of contemporary furniture is as robust as it is graceful.


Tracey Carter of ‘Eden Greens’ is a locally, family-run business specialising in growing microgreens. "We love chatting to the community about growing their own food at home and the importance of including superfoods in their diet”.


Lys Price of ‘Odd And Faded Design’ offers a selection of wood, leather, air dry clay, and fabric products, focusing on sustainable, reclaimed or recycled products. Functional and decorative gifts designed and crafted by Richard and Lys Price from their home in Woking.


Kate Lamb of ‘Susie Eats The Seasons’ offers fresh, seasonal, British food. Scrumptious snacks and lunches served both in the woods and from a beautiful vintage caravan


Kara Harris of "Kara Keilty Wellness" is a holistic Swedish-trained massage therapist using dōTERRA essential oils to promote recovery and relaxation





Workshops

Resident artist Ruth @ruthwheelerwellness and Lorraine @hedgesandhurdles will be running a selection of drop-in workshops during this event some of which you will be able to pre-book in advance including Willow Dream Catcher Workshops and Arts & Crafts Workshops.


 

Meet the Vikings

Vikings Survival & Outdoor Skills are our neighbours on the Birtley Estate and will be running various drop-in activities including axe throwing!


 

Summer Solstice

Join us for a nurturing evening celebrating the longest day of the year. Ruth will be running two different evening classes, Solstice Yoga Dance and Summer Solstice Yoga followed by drinks around the fire circle and studio.

Although not requisite you can register online to inform Ruth and Lorraine when you expect to arrive and let them know if you are interested in learning more about the workshops that will take place during these events.
