Pyrography means writing with fire and is a wonderfully meditative practice where one needs to slow down and take time, creating drawing like strokes with fire.

Willow Dream Catchers

Join Lorraine a Willow Weaving tutor to learn how to make your own Willow Dream Catcher.

You will first make a Willow wreath base and once complete learn how to weave a web using twine in a colour of your choice! We will have lots of different jewels and feathers for you to use to decorate your dream catcher!

In some Native American cultures, a dreamcatcher or dream catcher is a handmade willow hoop, on which is woven a net or web. It originates in Ojibwe culture as the "spider web charm". The dream catcher may also include sacred items such as certain feathers or beads. Traditionally they are often hung over cradles as protection.
