Wealden Banquet is the organiser of this outdoor pop-up fine dining experience run by Mark Chenhall, who trained at Leiths and also holds a WSET Diploma in Wines & Spirits.
Currently working at ‘The Hand & Flowers’, a Michelin 2 star restaurant in Marlow.

Woodland Workshops
The ‘Woodland Workshops’, run by Birtley Woodland Art Space, will take place on the morning of each of the days and give you the chance to try your hand at pyrography art and willow weaving

Pyrography Art
Be inspired by nature and create your own piece of Pyrography Art to be proud of! Ruth has over twenty years of Wood Carving and Pyrography experience and will guide you step by step to create a stunning Art piece by using a Pyrography machine. You will also have the choice to add colour using paints (choice of keyring, coasters, small art piece, sign, jewellery).
Willow Sphere Sculpture
Join Lorraine in this relaxing and mindful workshop to create a beautiful Sphere woven from Willow. You will learn how by creating a frame and using a random weave you can create a sculpture to hang in your garden. You can also add your own outdoor lights or even trailing plants to your Sphere!
Sunday
Willow Birdfeeder
Learn from Lorraine how to weave a Hanging Willow Birdfeeder ready to fill with fat balls to feed the birds this coming winter! We will use a tabletop jig to support the uprights before weaving using two different styles. Once complete you will then add a handle.

We can facilitate private groups and party bookings including hen parties and corporate events, please contact the organiser to discuss your requirements.
